Hey, I'm Anthony.

My parents immigrated to the US from Europe and Asia; they met while doing their PhDs at Berkeley. My last name is an unhyphenated union of theirs. I've always been proud to be from an international yet distinctly American family.

I mostly grew up in Seattle and went to university in California. Post-grad, I've been in New York, with time in Paris and the West Coast.

I built a social prediction platform in middle school with a few thousand active users. This was before prediction markets were a thing; I didn't have the foresight to facillitate insider trading. I ran it through high school and loved connecting with people from around the world.

After a few more years of working on consumer social apps & companies, during university I interned at Snapchat in Santa Monica. I returned full-time in New York, where I was lucky to work with and befriend many incredible people. I grew a ton as a person there, worked on many products I'm proud of, and will always be thankful for the experience.

In 2022, I got the chance to join a prototyping team for the AI/ML org at Apple. As a kid, I fell in love with design engineering because of the ability to work at the intersection of technology and liberal arts. I have deep respect for Apple and the discipline I saw.

Throughout my life, it's been hard to avoid entrepreneurship, and I started a new company in 2024. My co-founder Levi is still fighting the good fight and I'm honored he chose to work with me. We became YC alum as part of it.
