Hey, I'm Anthony.

Background

My parents are 1st generation Americans; my Mom from Europe and my Dad from Asia. They met while doing their PhDs at Berkeley.

I mostly grew up in Seattle and went to university in California. Post-grad, I've been mostly in New York, with stints in Paris and the West Coast.

I'm largely nonpartisan; nonetheless, despite the country's many flaws, I'm a proud American (with some European sympathies).

Early Career

Inspired by Steve Jobs' keynotes, I built/ran a prediction platform with a few thousand MAUs during middle and high school. I loved connecting with people from all around the world through it.

After years of pestering Snap, during university I got an internship in their Santa Monica HQ. I returned full-time as an iOS engineer in the New York office, where I was lucky to work with and befriend many ultra-talented people.

Two years in, I took the chance to join a prototyping team for the AI/ML org at Apple. As a kid, I fell in love with technology because of how it could increase humanity, not the ones and zeroes. I was and am proud to have worn the Apple badge.

I then returned to New York via Meta, where I spent a lot of time working with AI devices. I wasn't the biggest fan of leadership or mission here, but I'm still thankful for the experience.

I then co-founded Raycaster, a venture-backed company to accelerate commercial life science teams, based in New York. One of our investors was Y Combinator and I'm a proud alum.

Current Work

I work at a well-known research lab.
